The Read House Hotel

The Read House has anchored the corner of Broad Street and MLK Boulevard in downtown Chattanooga for generations, and its current Georgian-style building gives events a period setting a few blocks from the riverfront. The hotel offers 12 private event spaces totaling 17,000 square feet. The Silver Ballroom is the largest, seating 270 for a banquet or holding 300 for a reception, followed by the Centennial Room at 200 banquet seats and the Green Room at 120. Smaller rooms like the Crutchfield, Chestnut, and Gold Rooms handle dinners and meetings of 40 to 80, and an outdoor Garden space takes receptions of about 80.

Catering runs through the hotel with customizable menus, and guest rooms are upstairs for out-of-town attendees, which simplifies logistics for multi-day events. A dedicated sales team coordinates layouts and vendors.
