Songbirds

Songbirds is a working music venue on West Main Street in the Southside, run by the nonprofit Songbirds Foundation, and it rents its 4,000 square feet of space for private events between shows. Capacity is 220 across two separate event areas, and the production infrastructure is the draw: a professional sound system, stage lighting, hi-def projection, and two large LED screens that can run custom graphics, all operated by the venue's own production team. A full commercial kitchen and bar support catering, and rentals run in four-hour blocks — $1,250 on weeknights, $1,500 Sundays, and $2,000 on Fridays and Saturdays — with an hour each side for setup and takedown.

An upgraded package adds a guided tour of the venue's vault of rare vintage guitars, a leftover of its origins as a guitar museum. Songbirds is best for corporate parties, milestone birthdays, and reception-style events that want a stage, real AV, and a live-music feel without renting equipment.
