The Edwin Hotel, Autograph Collection

The Edwin is a 90-room boutique hotel at the southern end of the Walnut Street Bridge, steps from the Hunter Museum and the Bluff View Art District. Its event spaces are small and specific: the 1,445-square-foot Holmberg Ballroom takes up to 72 guests and divides into two sections of 36, while Whiskey Thief, the rooftop bar, holds events of up to 80 with views over the Tennessee River and the North Shore. Whitebird, the ground-floor restaurant, has a semi-private dining room for groups of 20 — a standard pick for rehearsal dinners and bridal luncheons.

Catering is in-house, and an on-staff events specialist builds custom packages that can string together a rehearsal dinner, ceremony, and farewell rooftop brunch across a weekend. The hotel's art collection, drawn from more than 75 regional artists, covers the walls throughout. The Edwin is best for intimate weddings, executive dinners, and cocktail events that value a rooftop river view over headcount.
