About This Venue
The Olmsted is a historic event venue on Frankfort Avenue in Louisville's Crescent Hill area, set in a building constructed between 1925 and 1927 on roughly 80 acres of green space. Family-owned and operated since 1938, it offers three event spaces ranging from indoor to uncovered outdoor settings, with a grand ballroom featuring floor-to-ceiling windows, crystal chandeliers and exposed brick that together can accommodate up to 600 guests with indoor and outdoor ceremony options.
Catering is handled by partner Masterson's Catering, which manages events on-site with buffet, plated and station-style service. The combination of a large ballroom, surrounding lawns and ample parking makes The Olmsted well suited to weddings, galas and fundraisers, corporate entertaining and large social celebrations.
