About This Venue
The Parthenon is a full-scale replica of the ancient Greek temple, built for Tennessee's 1897 Centennial Exposition and now the centerpiece of Centennial Park on West End Avenue. The building functions as Nashville's art museum and as a striking event venue, with rentable spaces including the art galleries, the Naos Room, and the Treasury. The Naos Room is dominated by a 42-foot gilded statue of Athena, the largest indoor sculpture in the Western world, which makes it one of the more dramatic rooms in the city for a seated dinner or reception.
The venue accommodates up to 200 guests theater-style, 250 for a seated dinner, and roughly 500 for a standing mix-and-mingle reception, with the outdoor plaza holding up to 300. Bookings run through the Conservancy's event manager, and the property works with a list of preferred vendors rather than providing in-house catering. The Parthenon suits weddings, corporate receptions, holiday parties, and milestone celebrations where the architecture and the Athena statue carry the room without additional decor.
