The Woolworth

The Woolworth occupies the historic former F.W. Woolworth department store on Rep. John Lewis Way North in downtown Nashville, a building tied to the city's 1960 lunch-counter sit-ins. Today it operates as a private event venue and theater across three floors of rentable space, with a combined reception capacity of roughly 650 guests. The spaces include the main Theatre (around 300 theater-style, 350 reception), the 1,600-square-foot Mezzanine (about 100 reception), and the 2,300-square-foot Twisted Wool Lounge (up to 250 reception), which can be booked individually or in combination.

The venue provides full-service catering and state-of-the-art audiovisual technology, and the floors flex between seated dinners, classroom layouts, theater seating, and standing cocktail formats. Beyond private bookings, the building runs its own slate of live entertainment and comedy shows.
